Our Mission.

When communities work together, we can save lives.

DustOff Global Health is dedicated to leveraging localized resources and expertise for the delivery of medical care and support to organizations, companies and individuals impacted by war, conflict, and disaster.

Our comprehensive service portfolio encompasses training, project management, project advising, and specialized technical support services tailored for Global Health projects operating in challenging environments.

Our MEASURES OF SUCCESS — D.U.S.T.

  • We define problematic areas and clearly identify objective measures of success.

  • We unify people by fully incorporating local collaborators into projects so that they run seamlessly.

  • We support skill building by appropriately matching skills and building foundational support for future work.

  • We use our technical expertise to create innovation and education to support long-term change.

With over 13+ contexts of extensive, on-the-ground experience, we provide realistic, practical, and effective solutions to even the most challenging global health problems. We coordinate global health projects run by nonprofits, governments, UN agencies, and other organizations that support health and health-adjacent projects in areas of the world impacted by war, conflict, and disaster. This includes clinics, HIV education, maternal child projects, hospitals, etc.

Health Adjacent Projects are projects that are not direct clinical care but have a direct effect on health such as Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), shelters, anti-trafficking education, food distribution etc.

We’ve worked in countries such as Iraq, Syria, Bahamas (post Hurricane Dorian), US Sanibel Island (post Hurricane Ian), Mexico, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Ecuador, Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Guatemala, Yemen, Afghanistan, and Moldova.

From Military to Humanitarian.

Meet the Founder: Helen Perry

After working in war zones for the past 10 years Helen has seen the direct overlap of military operations and humanitarian aid with one harsh reality: War effects people. With a specific focus on global health, and healthcare in areas impacted by war, conflict and disaster, Helen now works directly with organizations, individuals and companies to address the healthcare challenges in the worlds hardest to reach areas.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, Helen uses her extensive Global Health experience to bring practical and effective solutions to healthcare challenges globally.

She first entered the career field when she finished her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas and commissioned as an officer into the U.S Army. During her time in the military Helen obtained a wide range of skills to include working in field operations, trauma, critical care, emergency medicine, medical evacuation, and reconstructive surgery post trauma. Additionally, she gained skills in chemical, biological, nuclear and radiologic attacks (CBRN), as well as additional training in war trauma physiology, security operations, low resource medical care, humanitarian operations, and war time logistics.

After leaving active duty, Helen transitioned to the reserves and supported the 345th Combat Support Hospital, furthering her knowledge and expertise of setting up advanced medical resources in low resource settings.

In 2017, Helen began working globally, using her military skills to support the needs of Forcibly Displaced Persons (FDPs) across the globe supporting projects in Iraq, Syria, Bangladesh, Yemen, Mexico, The Bahamas, Honduras, Afghanistan, Romania, Poland, and Ukraine and more.

After serving as the Executive Director for a large international medical nonprofit- Helen began consulting and launched the beginning of DustOff Global Health, recongizing that organizations, businesses and even individuals often need global health support during times of crises. Since its inception DustOff Global Health has supported dozens of national and international organizations, as well as entities such as UNFPA, UNHCR, and others.
